Job Summary

The incumbent serves as a Teacher Aide and is responsible for supporting the day-to-day delivery of child care services in assigned classroom, as well as providing input on curricular planning and its implementation, and assisting in the collection of child development documentation. The incumbent must appropriately assist in ensuring quality and continuity of care in the classroom at all times. The incumbent must also develop and maintain general working knowledge of all aspects of the House Child Care Center and a general understanding of the Office of the CAO at-large, as well as applicable legal requirements and House Rules.

Requirements:

Experience in an Early Childhood setting with a strong emphasis on customer service. Candidate must have or be willing to obtain their CDA. Specialized training and/or certification in a discipline related to the position or an equivalent level of professional work experience preferred. CPR and Pediatric First Aid training preferred.
